With a classical fine art background in oil painting and anatomy, Ian began his tattoo career over six years ago. His signature style blends hyperrealism with dark surrealism and dramatic lighting, heavily influenced by Baroque and Renaissance masters. Ian’s tattoos are known for their cinematic detail, emotional depth, and ability to transform skin into fine art.

Ian specializes in large-scale custom work—from sleeves to full legs and backs—bringing mythological, religious, and psychological themes to life through bold contrast and precise technique. He also takes pride in tackling some of the most difficult cover-ups and reworks in the industry, turning old or unwanted tattoos into powerful new masterpieces.

Now tattooing at Black Rabbit Tattoo in Midvale, Utah, Ian is currently booking $1,000 full-day sessions for August and September.
