FAQS
How do I book a tattoo appointment?
You can view each of our resident artists by clicking on the “artists“ tab. Once you click on an artist, you will find information about them, as well as their preferred method for booking. Most of our artists prefer to handle appointment booking via email, while a few of our artists have booking links available instead. Simply reach out to them directly, and they will take it from there!
Do you accept “walk in” tattoo requests?
As an appointment-based studio, unfortunately we are not in a position to accommodate walk-in tattoo requests. That being said, all of our artists try hard to accommodate as many tattoo request as possible. Simply reach out to your preferred artist directly, and they will be more than happy to talk to you about their availability.
*Please refer to the first question on this page for information on contacting a specific artist directly.
Do your tattoos require a deposit? If so, how much?
Yes, all of our artists require deposits in order to secure your place in their calendar. That being said, each artist handles this separately, so unfortunately there isn’t a universal deposit amount that everyone charges. If you reach out to your preferred artist directly, they will be more than happy to walk you through the deposit process.

How much does a tattoo cost?
Unfortunately there isn’t a universal answer to this question, since each artist charges a different rate. If you reach out to your preferred artist directly, they will be more than happy to thoroughly explain how they charge for their tattoos.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Most of our artists tend to accept payment in the form of cash, Venmo, and credit/debit card. Be sure to ask your specific artist in advance about their payment preferences.
How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Getting a tattoo certainly takes a physical toll on your body. Supplying your body with adequate food, water, and sleep is an incredibly helpful first step. Showing up sober and in good health is also incredibly important. The healthier your body is in advance, the easier your body will be able to deal with the tattoo process itself and the healing stages that follow.
What should I wear to my tattoo appointment?
We encourage our clients to dress for comfort when they get tattooed. The more comfortable you are, the easier your experience will be. In addition, wearing clothing that will allow the artist full access to the area that is getting tattooed is also very important.
Can I bring a friend to my appointment?
In general, we highly discourage the act of bringing a friend to an appointment. In our experience, guests tend to be incredibly bored while waiting for the tattoo experience to end, and this inevitably becomes a problematic distraction for both the person getting tattooed and especially the artist. Our studio is designed to accommodate our clients to the fullest extent, but unfortunately we are not set up to also cater to friends who simply want to hang out.
How do I take care of my new tattoo?
Your artist will thoroughly inform you of all necessary aftercare instructions at the end of your tattoo session. In addition, we also carry aftercare products in our studio, so that you can walk through the aftercare process with confidence.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
As long as everything heals normally, a tattoo is typically fully healed in 14 days. During that time, you should avoid direct sun exposure, submersion in water, and contact with anything that is prone to be covered in bacteria (like gym equipment). Remember, your fresh tattoo is an open wound and needs to be protected the same way that you would protect any other open wound.
*If you have any concern about the progress of your healing tattoo, please reach out to your artist immediately!
Do you tattoo minors with a parent’s consent?
While Utah does allow a parent to sign for a minor’s tattoo, our studio’s policy requires a client to be at least 18 years old.
Can I get tattooed if I am pregnant or have a medical condition?
Unfortunately if you are pregnant, we simply can’t tattoo you. That being said, your artist will be more than happy to adjust your schedule, so that you can continue the progress of your tattoo once the pregnancy is over.
As for medical conditions in general, we advise you to consult with your doctor regarding that. If they do not approve the tattoo because of the medical condition you have, we would certainly follow their professional advice.
